Award Receiving Report: 245th ECS Meeting Z01 General Student Poster Session Award – 2nd Prize
I am honored to share that I received an award at the 245th ECS Meeting, held in San Francisco in May 2024, for the General Student Poster Session. I presented recent progress in my research with the title: “Template-Assisted Fabrication of Transparent SERS Sensor with Uniform Au-Ag Nanoparticle Electrodeposition.”
Presenting at an international conference like the ECS Meeting has been a significant milestone in my academic journey. It provided a valuable platform to showcase my research findings and receive feedback from peers around the world. Compared to an oral presentation, the poster session gave me the chance to interact with numerous researchers across different fields. Receiving input from experts with diverse backgrounds was both eye-opening and encouraging. The atmosphere of open communication and encouragement was heartwarming. It was also a rare opportunity to view my research from new perspectives, which I found refreshing.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my supervisors, Takayuki Homma, Masahiro Kunimoto and Mikiko Saito, for their unwavering guidance and encouragement throughout the preparation and presentation process. My colleagues in the lab also provided constant support and assistance during my research journey and the preparation of my poster.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the PEP program for its continuous support, as well as to the helpful staff at Waseda University. Your assistance has been vital in helping me achieve this accomplishment.
This award motivates me to further develop my research and make meaningful contributions to our academic community. Thank you all for your encouragement and support.
