Plentiful support systems
Various kinds of support are available for PEP. Students can take advantage of several support systems on offer, from expenses for required curriculum courses and RA expenses in accordance with the value of the research, to alleviation of class fees and career advice available at each university.
  • RA expenses

    Research assistants (RA) will receive reimbursement based on the value of their research.

  • Expense support for required classes

    All fees arising from required classes in the Power Energy Professional training program (travel, etc.) will be covered.

  • Support for overseas assignment

    PEP students are eligible to use a financial support system at each partner university for the expenses prepared for mid- to long-term assignment to universities, research institutions or companies overseas.

  • Other course aid and scholarships

    There are many other kinds of support systems available at each university.
    At Waseda University for example, the Scholarship for Young Doctoral Students is available to all students (all years for integrated system, from year TD3 for separated system). Please contact each university from for details.

  • Career paths for graduates

    Some universities offer career design support for doctoral graduate students as well. At Waseda University’s doctoral career center, we support career development and design.
