COLLABORATING COMPANIES
- A coalition of energy infrastructure companies providing practical research education
- One of PEP’s biggest strengths is the practical research education offered through industrial collaboration. The program has participation of companies and research institutions that create and lead energy infrastructure in Japan. Some examples are 10 electric power companies that produce 95% of Japan’s energy output; Power Academy, the only electrical engineering educational promotional organization in the country; and the Fukushima Renewable Energy Institute, part of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, at which students can train with the most cutting-edge technology available anywhere. The shared research education offered through this industrial cooperation is unlike any other in the world.
